Visuals for Social media and printed material for advertising the first Fandango Jarocho event in Helsinki. It was an open event including workshops and a party/concert organized by an independent cultural association and supported by IME (Institute of Mexicans abroad).
Some illustrations shown here were handmade first by linocut and some others are completely digitally made.
"Son Jarocho" is a folk music style from southern Veracruz state in Mexico. It is an Afro-Mexican style that combines string and percussion instruments, singing, and dance.
