Illustration made for celebrating and promoting annual event in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil organised by Instituto Nzinga de Capoeira Angola to protect the sea from pollution making people aware of all the non-degradable offerings such as plastic that they throw to the sea every year.
This print was designed in a round shape to represent the world all connected by the seas and the main figure is a representation of Iemanjá (Yemanjá) the goddess of the waters and sea-life for the Camdoblé traditions in Brazil and other countries in Caribbean area and Africa.
