VISIONS is a group exhibition to be organized in Helsinki Culture Center Merirasti during March and April 2025.
"Titled Visions, this exhibition invites artists to reflect on the future realities of a sustainable Helsinki. Our goal is to foster a collective understanding of 'what a sustainable future' means. Sustainability is not just environmental but also socio-economic, one cannot exist without the other. How might Helsinki look in the future? Can art influence the trajectory of our shared future? We invite you to bring your vision to the table and be part of this exhibition."
I opted for a visually clean and simplistic yet expressive design. I intend to enhance the open landscape of innovative and futuristic creativity for the artworks of the applicants.
I want to inspire them to create something within their own vision and artistic style, at the same time I want to provoke mental calm and relaxation, because "future visions" can be a scary term to work with.
